First Search
The Illinois State Library provides free access to FirstSearch, an electronic information service providing online access to popular databases. The system enables library users to search multiple databases under a single, easy-to-use interface, without any online searching experience or computer training. FirstSearch includes 85 online databases and more than 5,000,000 full text articles. Patrons may use this database on the internet terminals at the Lanark Public Library or may access this database from their own computers at home by using the Lanark Public Library authorzation number and password.
