Mission Statement  
The primary mission of the Lanark Police Department is to prevent and deter criminal activity, the apprehension of offenders, and the protection of the lives and property of the citizens of the City of Lanark.

About Police Chief Ron Page - Ron was with the McHenry County Sheriff's Police for 28 years. He has worked Patrol, Investigations, Narcotics, Communications, Corrections, S.W.A.T.,  Range Officer, Field Training Officer, Major Accident Investigator specializing in Aggravated D.U.I. and Reckless Homicide Investigation, Overweight Truck Enforcement ,Crime Scene Technician and Fugitive Apprehension. Ron takes over as Chief Sept. 4th, 2006.
